Tammy: #1--a good idea, but that's a clause; #2--yes, but think about the punctuation; #3--that's a dependent clause.

Oh gosh, apparently no problem creating a clause.

November 11th was Remembrance Day; there was no school this day.

2. Unless I am wrong, November 11th was Remembrance Day.

Tammy: That's a dependent clause--"which" a pronoun that is the subject of the clause; "was" is the verb.
