VOCABULARY, Sept. 29th

Vocabulary building is important for both reading comprehension and writing. Use the following two words (note the part of speech) in one sentence.

panacea (noun) + avert (verb)

Richard: avert is a transitive verb; it needs a direct object.

Richard: Good, you have corrected the verb problem, now think about what "that" refers to.
