Samantha: You just needed to change the subject noun here not rearrange the sentence. Check Tammy's answer, and you will see what is required;-)
Tammy: Good change;-)

4. The dedicated horticulturist waited for a first day of spring before joyfully planting her tulips.

Irena: Ok--you have substitued a noun clause here which works well; just change "a" to "the";-)
Kelsey: Grammatically OK, but most people plant their tulips the previous fall;-)
Janine: You were left with a difficult task--Kelsey removed one the adjectives (flower)--and this has probably misled you into replacing an advderb as well as an adjective.
NEXT STUDENT: Please make change #6.

Dejo and Samantha:You needed to make changes # 6 and 7 respectively (verb name and verb tense changes), and you needed to build on the previously changed sentence:"The dedicated horticulturist waited for a first day of spring before joyfully planting her tulips." Do you want to try again?
