In many parts of Canada ferwer people are planning to travel over the year. It is due in part to the worse weather we have been having, but also of the cost of travelling.

blowen: A good solution.
Marie-Christine: You are on the right track--check your spelling and the comparative;-)

This year, Canadians will be travelling less. This is due to the bad weather we have experienced recently and it being costly.

Nancy: You have the right idea, but you don't need such a drastic rewrite;-)
