GRAMMAR QUESTION, June 29th

Correct the errors in the following sentence overheard in the supermarket:

A visitor to Vietnam must to remember taking their anti-malaria medicine regular to be affective preventing them from sickness and it would spoil the trip.

Remember that there is more than one possible correct answer.

Visitors to Vietnam must remember to take anti-malaria medicine regularly in order to be affective, so it could prevent the sickness and it wouldn’t spoil the trip.

A visitor to Vietnam must take their anti-malaria medicine regularly, this will prevent them from getting sick and spoiling their trip.

Irena: This is a good attempt, and you have solved some of the problems; think about article usage, word confusion,and rewording the last two clauses;-)
Anthony: Pretty good--now think about agreement issues;-)
