SENTENCE COMPLETION, Feb. 3rd

2. While many people watched the Pittsburgh Steelers win the Superbowl last weakened, I had to entertain guests.
3. Many people watched the Pittsburgh Steelers win the Superbowl last weekend and talked about it afterwards all day on Monday at work.

#1--Good; #2--you have changed the original independent clauses into a dependent one and then add an independent clause--also note the problem with the spelling of weekend;-)#3--yes, but remember the punctuation needed with independent clauses.

Janine: #1--omit "the" before "pubs"; #2--you have changed the original independent clause into a dependent one, and then add an independent clause;#3--again you have changed the independent clause into a dependent one, and watch for word confusion between loose and lose;-)
